Friday, July 30, 2010 Thursday Events At Midway Rained-Out-Friday Championship Night With Twin Features

LEBANON, Mo. -- The Thursday-night edition of Hot Summer Nights fell to Mother Nature as rain forced cancelation of the features.
Friday night will see double features to be ran in the B-Mods, StreetStocks and FactoryStocks. Only the drivers that qualified Thursday night will be eligible to run the first feature.
Fans that were present Thursday night can bring their rain stub Friday night and recieve $5 off the Admission price to the Friday night events.
Friday night will feature double features along with racing in thr Purestocks, MidWest Modz and Sportsman class.
New drivers Friday will be eligible to only run the second feature in the B-Mods, FactoryStocks and StreetStock classes and must cover the car entry fee.
Friday night admission will be $15 for adults in the grandstands while pit passes are $25.
Thursday night Ben Solberg was the quick-qualifier in the FactoryStocks, but the feature will see Sundance Keepper the leader of the first FactoryStock feature with one lap completed. Brian Webster was quickest in the modifieds and will be the pole-setter for the first Modified qualifying event while Michael Stake was second-quick and will lead the field in the second modified qualifier. Joe Francis was quickest in the StreetStocks and will lead the field in the first feature with Rodney Yost on the outside.
NASCAR Camping World Truck driver Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon is currently fifth in the point standings for the Hot Summer nights series.
Gates open at 5pm with hotlaps at 7:05 and Racing at 8PM.
